Spooktacular Halloween Treat Bags With Simply Stamps

Happy Sunday! Halloween is creeping up fast, we have our costumes all set and I thought I would share fun treat bags using spooky craft stamps by Simply Stamps.

First I created a pattern using the

Short Bat Halloween Craft Stamp on a brown lunch paper bag. I made sure to leave space for added embellishments.

Next, it’s time to create a tab that will keep the treat bag closed; I used stacked circle dies from my stash in two difference sizes. For the larger circle I used pattern paper and for the smaller one I used water color paper.

I wanted to create an emboss resist with the Frankenstein Monster Halloween Craft Stamp, and started by treating the paper with an anti static tool. Using Versamark ink I stamped in a similar style as the bat on the lunch bag. For a little extra effect I used Glow in the Dark embossing powder and wiped away any excess powder with a fine, clean paint brush. After the embossing powder was melted using my heat tool, I blended Distress Ink in Black Soot to finish off the technique.

For the sentiment I added a “Happy Halloween” from my stash and took out my handy “Rylan” Traditional Signature Stamp making it a very fast process for a class set of these treat bags. I adhered everything in place and added a ribbon; all that’s needed are some yummy treats! Thank you so much for stopping by!
