Happy New School Year with Lawn Fawn & SNS

Hi everyone! I can’t believe how fast the summer flew by, it’s the first day of school on Tuesday over here, eeek! I wanted to create a cute “you got this” card for my little guy, he’s going to a brand new school this year.

I started by creating an A2 sized stitched rectangle with Bristol Smooth card stock. For the perfect night sky, I blended Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot. I love the Tonic Shaker Sets so much that I had to add the stars to this scene.

Next, I stamped and colored the main image from Lawn Fawn’s Rawr using alcohol friendly ink and markers. I also added school themed images from a Heffy Doodle set that paired perfectly.

For the sentiment strip I used “Reach for the Stars” from my stash by heat setting glow in the dark embossing powder on black card stock.
