Hello crafty friends, I'm thrilled to be featured on the Ellen Hutson Blog today! I couldn't resist pairing the And Many More stamp set from the June Essentials By Ellen Release with a tiny Lawn Fawn party.
I started by die-cutting an A2-sized stitched rectangle using alcohol-friendly cardstock. Next, I stamped the ampersand and accompanying sentiments with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Now it's time to get inky! I love Catherine Pooler's Pucker Up, It's a Boy and Serenade and decided to make them a combo. Using a stamping block and the solid ampersand image in the set, I very carefully applied each colour and stamped it inside the outline image.
It's time to stamp and die-cut our little party! Lawn Fawn's Tiny Birthday Friends are a perfect fit. Once these cuties are coloured in, it's time for my favourite part, arranging the scene. You will notice the little cat is at the very top - that's where you will find mine in the wild!
When I was happy with the placement, I adhered everything into place using a Lawn Fawn Glue Tube and added a mini foam square on the Pinata Player. Mixing and matching different layers of dimension creates a nice polished look.
To finish off the card, I added Glossy Accents, Crystal Stickles and coordinating sequins. I love combining a few small added details, together they create a large impact on your card design.
Thank you so much for stopping by! P.S, for my day to day crafty adventures be sure to subscribe to my newsletter and follow me over on Instagram.
